The Department of State and Regional Development is now part of Industry & Investment NSW, which has been established to assist in building a diversified State economy that creates jobs.
 
The new Department works to attract investment to NSW and support innovative, sustainable and globally competitive businesses, industries and sectors. We provide business assistance and advice, strong technical knowledge and scientific capabilities. By integrating the services of the Department’s partner agencies we now have a stronger capacity to support NSW industry and businesses in creating jobs and leveraging investment.
