This website represents a quantum leap in how the NSW Government communicates with small business in our State.

The site features a suite of easy-to-access interactive resources such as the Small Business Tool Kit with audio and video presentations, checklists, calculators, case studies and quizzes.

The Small Business Tool Kit, is the result of a collaboration between the NSW Government and the University of Western Sydney. The Small Business Tool Kit demonstrates the NSW Government's commitment to ensuring local small businesses get access to top quality information, training and support.

The Tool Kit is the result of intensive research and the hard work of professional staff and over 20 undergraduate Information Technology, business and accounting students. One student became so enthused about small business, she has put aside plans to be an accountant and now wants to be a small business entrepreneur. It is this enthusiasm about small business which we hope to impart to you.

The website contains a wealth of information for business that are starting-up, running or growing, along with information specifically for women in business, home-based businesses, young entrepreneurs, and other business owners.
