Owner and operator of Silver City Exhausts Barry Stone has been working in the industry since 1980. Barry established his own business - Silver City Exhausts - in 2008.

Located just off the main retail drive in Broken Hill on Oxide street the business fits stainless steel exhausts which are in high demand by the Broken Hill mine.

To develop his business further and to increase turn over Barry contacted Industry and Investment NSW’s Aboriginal Business Development Manager for Western NSW who began working with him to develop the business and promote the enterprise.

Keen to broaden his market reach Barry is looking at cleaning tanks and radiator repairs. Providing these services will assist in the development and growth of the business and will result in the firm employing additional staff.
