Women in business

The Women in Business Program managed by Industry & Investment NSW helps emerging female business owners grow their business.

The NSW Government has helped more than 7,000 women business owners to start, run and grow businesses through the Women in Business program.

For many graduates of the Women in Business program, their business is the realisation of a life-long dream, the chance to build their own success.

The Women in Business program provides the fundamental knowledge to achieve this success.

To harness the potential of emerging female entrepreneurs the NSW Government supports these businesswomen through its:

Mentoring Program – metropolitan and regional

Growth strategy business skills workshops

Review of Women in Business program

The Women in Business program is being reviewed and will be re-launched in 2010 to mark 15 years since the program’s launch in 1995. Until the re-launch, we are planning Growth Strategy Workshops from February to May 2010. More information will be available shortly.

Should you require business development assistance or a boost in networking opportunities prior to the program re-launch please contact your local Business Advisory Service.
