MicroBiz Buzz

6 June 2011

Over 3000 potential and current small business operators participated in the most successful MicroBiz Week in its six-year history. Of the 111 statewide events, one of the several successful events was the ‘Mumpreneur’ event in Sydney where 83 people heard inspiring stories of mothers who successfully run their own business.

During the week, owners and managers of small or micro businesses got practical assistance, expert advice and exchanged ideas and experiences with their peers.

At the week’s launch, NSW Small Business Minister, Katrina Hodgkinson, said: “Starting and running a business can be exciting yet daunting; Microbiz Week is all about letting you know you’re not alone.”
