There is a new space for employers and workers to get social to stay safe, with the recent launch of the Work safe. Home safe. fan page on Facebook.

An initiative of WorkCover NSW, Work safe. Home safe. gives employers, workers, and their families, a place to share their ideas and reasons for staying safe at work. And with contributions from work health and safety regulators across the country, it also offers trusted information and advice.

WorkCover invites all employers and workers to become a fan of Work safe. Home safe. on Facebook, and join the growing community sharing their work safety thoughts, experiences and information.

Work safe. Home safe. is lively and interactive, with regular discussions, safety videos, news stories, surveys and links to relevant work health and safety information.

With support from workplace health and safety regulators from across the country and ‘fans’ of the page coming from all over Australia and overseas, it makes information shared on the Work safe. Home safe. page relevant for all Australian workers and employers.

Fans are also posting content of interest to them, with one fan, Colin, recently posting video files of the new Worksafe Victoria ‘WorkHealth checks’ television advertising.

A recent comment shared by page fan, Kenneth, reflects the positive manner in which the page is being received by fans, ‘What a fantastic site!’

With another fan, Gary, sharing his enthusiastic assessment, ‘I think it’s the start of something BIG!’
