Expressions of Interest are sought from local councils, chambers of commerce, business enterprise centres, industry associations and not-for-profit organisations to register to deliver streams of Industry & Investment NSW’s Business Mentoring Program. Organisations that are outside this scope will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Organisations can register their interest to deliver any or all of the following streams over the next three years:

  • Young Entrepreneur Mentoring – MentorMate
  • Women in Business Mentoring
  • Small Business Mentoring

Each stream runs for up to five months and has four integrated components:

  • 15 hours of business skills workshops;
  • 10 hours of mentoring;
  • working on a special business project or outcome; and
  • networking.

Program outcomes for participants include:

  • improving business management skills for small business owners/managers
  • identifying and facilitating business growth strategies for small businesses; and
  • providing opportunities for small business owners/managers to network and develop strategic alliances.
