Prevent and mange depression and anxiety in the workplace

beyondblue: the national depression initiative is encouraging people in small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to take part in a free training program to prevent and mange depression and anxiety in the workplace.

The Business in Mind program provides owners and managers of SMEs with a free DVD and Resource Kit to help them manage mental health problems in the workplace.

The program is a D.I.Y. program and can be completed in your own time. It includes tips for effective stress management, work/life balance and positive relationship building.

People in the small business sector face financial pressures and a whole range of stresses which can negatively affect their health, create a stressful work environment, and ultimately affect business profits.

The Business in Mind program aims to equip SME managers with the skills to identify signs of depression and anxiety and promote safe, healthy working environments.
