Subsidised business cases and funds are available to improve energy efficiency in industrial refrigeration in the wine, meat, dairy, food and beverage industries in NSW.
A limited number of companies will receive 30 per cent funding up to $20,000 to install new, energy efficient industrial refrigeration technologies.
A 70 per cent subsidised business case will identify how much money, energy and carbon pollution your company can save by optimising the refrigeration plant. The business case will include projected energy savings, capital cost estimates and calculated payback periods.
The Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water NSW (DECCW) is looking to work with companies and transform the industrial refrigeration sector. This support is provided as part of the NSW Government’s $150 million Energy Efficiency Strategy.
