The Ausindustry program is making grants available for its Small Business Online program. The grants, which are for projects ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 are ear-marked for service providers that can provide 'free or low cost' IT skills development, training and mentoring services to small business.
Larger projects that exceed this range may also be considered, subject to available funding.
The Small Business Online program will fund organisations with a track record in delivering IT support and training to small businesses. Applicants can include industry associations, professional and business organisations, and educational institutions including universities, colleges of technical and further education (TAFEs) and business enterprise centres.
The closing date for applications is 5 pm (AEST) Friday 25 September 2009. Visit the Small Business Online program's webpage for more information, or email hotline@ausindustry.gov.au, or call the hotline on 13 28 46.
