Building the Recovery Information Session – Western Sydney

As part of the Keep Australia Working initiative, the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is hosting two information sessions for the construction and engineering industries.

These sessions will provide you with details on government funded and private sector construction and infrastructure projects in the Western Sydney area and how to get involved.

These sessions will be held at the Novotel in Rooty Hill on 24 March from 4:30pm to 7:00pm and at the Fairfield Memorial RSL in Fairfield on 26 March from 7:30am to 10:00am.

In conjunction with state and local government, industry associations and private enterprise, the information sessions will outline:

  • what opportunities and major projects exist in the area, in both the public and private sector
  • how local businesses and tradespeople can access these opportunities and projects and tender for Government business
  • what services and programs exist to support and assist local business.
