1 in 5 people will have some type of disability or chronic medical condition during their lifetime. As an employer you can’t always see or know one of your employees has a disability.
The University of Western Sydney is hosting a disability disclosure workshop on Wednesday 4 November 2009 at its Parramatta campus.
The workshop will provide employers, supervisors and managers with information:
- about meeting legal responsibilities
- to encourage disability confidence
- about how to give a constructive response to staff disclosing disability
