Introduction
A major driver of NSW's economic growth is the participation of innovative small and medium firms in international markets. However, many firms are deterred by lack of information on export market opportunities and complex procedures and regulations.
These challenges increase in regional areas where information sourcing and sharing is often limited by the lack of an export culture in business.
To assist regional business overcome the barriers to export, specialist Export Advisers are located in the strategic regional centres of NSW: Bathurst, Nowra, Tamworth, Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie and Gosford.

Assistance Provided
The Export Advisers are available to give hands on advice and to encourage and assist companies based in regional NSW to take full advantage of international market opportunities. They draw on DSRD and the collaborative resources of Austrade, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and other export service providers to advise regional businesses on market opportunities, planning for export, market entry strategies and related issues.
Who is Eligible?
Assistance from Regional Export Advisers is available to export-capable firms in the traded goods and services sectors and located in non-metropolitan areas. Services are also available in metropolitan Sydney.
