Leaving Home

If your business reaches a point where the home can no longer accommodate the scale of your operation, you will need to consider moving into commercial premises. It is also an option in anticipation of, or as an instigator to growth, eg you may want to move to a shop front or showroom-type premises for easier promotion of your products and/or services.

Once again, plan carefully as the leasing arrangement will impose a significant cost and legal obligation that you did not have as a home-based business operator.
