On 17 January 2006 the Premier, the Hon Morris Iemma MP, announced a renewed focus on regulatory reform in New South Wales. The Government's initiative has three parts:
The Small Business Regulation Review consists of a series of sector-by-sector reviews which aim to reduce the time and money small businesses spend on regulatory compliance.
The following reviews have been completed by the Small Business Regulation Review Taskforce and the recommendations endorsed by the Government:
